Supply Primary Teacher

Job Description

Looking for flexibility, variety, and a chance to make a real difference in local schools?
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Hereford. If you're looking to take control of your schedule, work with fantastic children, and enjoy teaching without the added pressure of planning, this role could be perfect for you.

Starting in September and running through to the end of the academic year, this position gives you the opportunity to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with pre-prepared lessons ready to go.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons across the full primary age range
  • Covering PPA sessions and stepping into different classes as needed
  • Creating a positive, calm, and productive classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils in line with the National Curriculum
  • Building great relationships with both pupils and staff
  • Committing to a full-time, long-term position through to the end of the school year

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience working in primary settings, either as a Class Teacher, Cover Supervisor, or Supply Teacher
  • Confident delivering lessons from EYFS to KS2
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in different classroom settings
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys teaching and can bring energy and positivity to the role

What You’ll Get in Return:
We understand that teaching isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we’re committed to helping you work where and when it suits you. Whether you’re balancing family life, studies, or just prefer a more flexible approach to teaching, we’ve got you covered.
With Flourish Education, you’ll also benefit from:
  • Daily rates of £120 to £130 – equivalent to £23,400 to £25,350 a year based on full-time work
  • Holiday pay (12.07% of your pay set aside just for you)
  • Pension contributions
  • Free safeguarding & Prevent training (KCSIE compliant, with the latest updates including FGM and online safety)
  • £100 welcome bonus to say thanks for joining us
  • A refer-a-friend bonus scheme
  • Friendly, regular contact from our team – we’re here to support you every step of the way

This role is in Hereford, with excellent links to nearby areas such as Leominster, Ross-on-Wye, Bromyard and Hay-on-Wye. The school is welcoming, well-resourced, and offers on-site parking as well as public transport access.
