Starting Mid-September until Christmas 2025
Job Role:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum, including Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Provide PPA cover across the primary age range.
  • Work as a Supply Teacher in different classrooms to support learning.
  • Ensure lessons are well planned and meet the needs of all learners.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  • Commit to a full-time, long-term position starting after April and continuing for the rest of the academic year.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Experience working as a Supply Teacher, Class Teacher, or across a Primary School setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Ability to teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Confidence in delivering PPA cover work.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Location:
This position is based in Hay-on-Wye, commutable from Newchurch, Eardisley, Michaelchurch Escley and the surrounding areas. The school offers onsite parking and has strong community links.
