Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking a compassionate and adaptable SEND Teacher to work with pupils of mixed ages at a school located in Bartley Green. This role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, on a full-time basis.
 
You will support with planning and teaching within the school’s SEND provision, deliver targeted interventions across the school, and assist the SENCO with paperwork, review meetings, and other SEND-related tasks.
 
The school is an inclusive and caring community that supports children’s well-being and learning through a broad curriculum, close partnerships with families, and helping pupils become confident and independent learners.
 
Responsibilities as a SEND Teacher:
  • Support with Planning and teaching
  • Deliver SEN Interventions
  • Support SENCO
  • Review meetings with a dedicated team
 
Required Skills and Experience as Teaching Assistant:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience with SEND
  • Experience working in a Primary School setting
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide a calm and neutering environment.

This Supply Teacher position is based in Bartley Green, easily commutable from Harborne, Edgbaston, Selly Oak, Bearwood, and Bournville. The area has excellent transport links.
