Job Description

Flourish Education is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Supply Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Kidderminster, proudly rated GOOD by OFSTED. This opportunity offers excellent flexibility, with both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements available making it ideal for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers looking to build confidence and experience.

As a Supply Teacher, you’ll be well-supported while delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

To be considered, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The role is available for an immediate start, with opportunities for both short-term and ongoing placements that could extend into the next academic year, including September.

Job Role:
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Take on full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners within the Secondary School
  • Support pupil progress and attainment through effective assessment strategies
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and leadership within the Secondary School
Required skills and experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience as a Supply Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Cover Supervisor or similar
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom delivery
  • Proven excellent behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships within a Secondary School setting
  • Suitable for Early Career Teacher (ECT) with QTS or experienced teachers with QTS

Working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
