Job Description

Are you a qualified or recently qualified teacher looking for work in the local area?

If so, we are working with a local school who are seeking day to day and part-time staff in the area. The role would involve teaching work set by the class teacher/school and marking in line with the school policy. The candidate would be working in roles aross Early years, Key Stage One or the Key Stage Two age range (depending on experience or preference).

Job role

  • Teaching in Early Years, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two classes as required
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Show secure subject knowledge to support learning
  • Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems

Required skills and experience

  • Valid teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the year group expectations
  • A nurturing and caring approach with young people
  • Commitment to a long-term role
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

The teacher role is based in the Walsall area and is accessible by car and public transport. There is parking on site for teachers and support staff. It is possible to access school from the surrounding areas of Sandwell, Wednesbury, Oldbury, Smethwick, West Bromwich and North Birmingham.
