Support Worker

Job Description

We are recruiting a support worker role to work in an inner-city primary school in Birningham. This support worker's role will be to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Reception with Autism and challenging behaviour. The child would benefit from support from a candidate with experience in emotion regulation. Additional qualifications around SEND is desirable. The school is a 2-form entry “Good” Primary School.

This role will start in September 2024 and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-3:30).

Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Support Worker Role

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
