Oldbury, West Midlands
Up to £160 per day
Temporary Full Time
Role: Early Years Teacher, Full time
Area: Oldbury, B69
Starting: September (one full term)
Flourish Education is working with a school in the Oldbury area who are seeking to appoint a full-time class teacher. The school works to ensure that children are inspired to learn with others and achieve their outcomes. Pupils are valued academically, morally and spiritually through the teachings of Jesus. The school develops a real sense of respect for others in the children who learn here. The ideal candidate would be someone who would aim to uphold these values and to work in collaboration with the staff to provide high quality education for the pupils.
The ideal EYFS teacher would be someone who has previous experience in Early Years, holding QTS or EY Teacher Status – the post is not suitable for an ECT. Knowledge of the Early Learning Goals and curriculum are essential. As this is a full-time, long-term role, the teacher would be expected to show commitment to the role and the ability to integrate into a team. Forming strong relations with staff and pupils will be a key to success. The role would involve planning, with allocated time given during the week. The school is part of a Catholic MAC so the ability to teach RE and having completed CCRS would be highly desirable.
