Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school located in Bartley Green, Birmingham. The school want to recruit a TA to work full time in their school Nursery. Our client is a primary school with a supportive and friendly staff team that instil confidence into all learners.

Responsibilities as Nursery TA will include working with the class teacher, supporting students with SEND 1:1, delivering stimulating play and educational group work, setting up and delivering activities and assisting with personal care. The school require a TA who is committed and can use their initiative to help where needed.

This is a full time Teaching Assistant role and is to start after Easter and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification
  • Experience working in primary schools and or nursery settings
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum
  • The ability to contribute to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
  • To be able to work effectively and efficiently alongside the class teacher.
  • Empathetic and supportive towards students and staff

This Teaching Assistant role is based at a school in Bartley Green which is accessible from Selly Oak, Woodgate Valley, Northfield, and Halesowen. The school can be accessed easily by bus and there is an onsite car park available.
