Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school in Washwood Heath to join their support staff team on a long-term basis. This is an inclusive, committed and caring school where the children are placed at the very heart of everything they do.
Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN hub which is a seperate classroom for a group of children with various SEN. Responsibilities in this role include supporting the children to meet their individual needs, providing support to the class teacher and monitoring the children's progress.
This Teaching Assistant role is to start at the end of September and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working in schools in the UK
- Minimum Level 3 qualification
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children
- Motivating and encouraging the children
- Supporting with learning and development
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and other staff
- Giving feedback to parents
- Commitment to the role
- Being flexible when needed
- Personal care may be required
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
- £85.02 day rate to £100 day rate which equates to £16,578.90 per annum to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
