Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work at a First School in the Bromsgrove area to support a child in a Year 1 class on a 1:1 basis.

The school is located just outside the town centre and has a good reputation in the local area, often over-subscribed with a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.

The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis supporting children in a year 1 class who has an EHCP and a diagnosis of Autism. The school are looking for someone with a patient approach who is able to use low level stimulation to aid the child in accessing learning.

This teaching assistant role is due to start in ASAP on a full-time, long-term basis.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting
A nurturing approach to learning
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism.

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
Day rate up to £95 per day which equates to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate

This Teaching Assistant role is situated in Bromsgrove, accessible by car or public transport from parts of Birmingham including Longbridge, Northfield, Rubery as well as Redditch, Droitwich and Kidderminster.
