JOB ROLE:
- Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering the National Curriculum across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Assisting students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis within a Secondary School setting
- Helping to prepare classroom materials and maintain an engaging learning environment
- Supporting students with additional needs to access the curriculum effectively
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive engagement as a TA
- Adapting quickly to different Secondary School environments on a day-to-day basis
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous UK school experience is essential
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, TA, Learning Support Assistant, or Classroom Assistant
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Experience supporting students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Ability to work closely with a Class Teacher and independently when required
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting young people’s learning
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different Secondary School settings
