The Responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant role include:
- Support children across the primary school age range, Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Provide whole class, 1-1, or small group support, ensuring tailored learning experiences
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and help with classroom management
- Offer emotional and academic support to students with varying needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive classroom environment
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the needs of children across the primary age range
- Experience providing whole class or 1-1, small group support
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
