The Responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant role include:

  • Support children across the primary school age range, Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Provide whole class, 1-1, or small group support, ensuring tailored learning experiences
  • Assist in the delivery of lessons and help with classroom management
  • Offer emotional and academic support to students with varying needs
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive classroom environment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the needs of children across the primary age range
  • Experience providing whole class or 1-1, small group support
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning
  • Excellent references from previous employers
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
