Job Description

Pay: Up to £90 per day

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support staff team on a day-to-day basis.

Working for Flourish Education on a day-to-day supply basis as an SEN Teaching Assistant will give you the opportunity to work when you wish to work, in schools that you wish to work in.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to deliver pastoral and learning support, assist with the development and implementation of EHCP’s, plan and deliver in accordance with the objectives on the students EHCP and provide bespoke support for the student to access all learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification
  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • Experience in Primary Schools
  • Experience supporting pupils 1:1
  • Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the child
  • Provide an engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher

You will be working in a variety of primary schools across Coventry including Stivichall, Finham, Baginton, Whitley, Binley, Stoke Aldermoor, Willenhall and many more. Most of our clients have onsite parking. This is easily accessible from Kenilworth, Warwick, Meriden and Balsall Common.
