Job Role:
  • Support the Class Teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Work with groups of pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), Reception and EYFS
  • Assist with planning, preparation and assessment of learning activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing learning environment
  • Provide 1:1 support when needed and adapt to different year groups as required
  • Follow school safeguarding procedures and policies at all times
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working as a TA, Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School
  • Experience with the National Curriculum across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Confident supporting the Class Teacher and using initiative in the classroom
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • A commitment to promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
  • A flexible, positive attitude and desire to maintain a healthy work life balance
