Job Role:
  • Supporting the Class Teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Providing targeted support to pupils across Reception, EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to raise attainment
  • Assisting in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments
  • Supporting children with additional needs as required
  • Helping with classroom resources and general administrative tasks
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, TA, or Learning Support Assistant in a UK Primary School
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum, EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Ability to work closely with the Class Teacher and wider school team
  • Previous UK school experience is essential
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Location:
This position is based in Lydney and is easily commutable from Chepstow, Lydbrook, Cinderford, Coleford, and surrounding areas. Many partner schools also offer onsite parking and have excellent public transport links.
