Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in the Kidderminster area. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time teaching assistant to work in an Year 3 class on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school require a Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 3 class, working as general classroom support as well as supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the class teacher, managing behaviour as well as supporting children with various Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.


Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting
Experience in Key Stage 2 is a bonus
Ability to manage challenging behaviour
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
Day rate up to £90 per day which equates to £17,550 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 15.38% of your day rate

The school is situated on the outskirts of Kidderminster, north of the town centre allowing easy access from all directions. There is onsite parking either in a school car park or on the road in a residential area.
