Job Description

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant role to work in a Primary School based in Kidderminster. This Teaching Assistant's role is to work closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment across Key Stage 2.

This Primary school is seeking a candidate with experience working with small groups, with excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and also has experience with challenging behaviour.

This full-time position (08:30 – 15:30) is due to start in January until July 2026.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage Two (KS2)
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • UK school experience
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
