Are you a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time role starting after the Easter break?

A friendly First School in Droitwich is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing classroom support for a Year 3 class in the afternoons from Monday to Friday, for the full summer term.

This Teaching Assistant role is classroom-based, working closely with the class teacher to support learning, engage pupils, and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

The school is looking for a proactive and flexible Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children and can support both academic and social development.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

  • Assisting pupils with their learning and understanding of tasks.

  • Helping manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.

  • Supporting small groups or individual pupils as directed.

  • Preparing resources and materials as required.

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.


To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

  • Previous classroom or teaching assistant experience is desirable.

  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A commitment to supporting children’s learning and development.
