Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in the Pershore area. Our client is looking to recruit a part-time teaching assistant to work in a Year 1 class on a long-term basis.

The school require a Teaching Assistant to support in the Year 1 class as a general classroom based teaching assistant. As a teaching assistant, responsibilities will include supporting the class teacher, as well as supporting a children on a 1:1 and group basis and managing the challenging behaviour.

This is a part-time role starting after ASAP. The school are flexible on the working days, but they must be consecutive. The role is due to continue on a long-term basis.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting
Experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) is a bonus
Ability to manage challenging behaviour
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
Day rate up to £90 per day which equates to £17,550 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 15.38% of your day rate

This Teaching Assistant role is situated on the outskirts of Pershore in a residential area. The school is easily accessible by car and public transport and has a good sized car park on site.
