Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a First School in the Redditch area. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time teaching assistant to work in a Year 4 class on a long term basis, starting after the Easter holidays.

Based on the outskirts of Redditch, this is a large first school with a good reputation in the local area.


The school require a Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 4 class, working with a child on a one to one (1:1) basis. The child needs learning support and a clear routine from his teaching assistant. The behaviour of the child is good but instead requires support completing work during the day.


This Teaching assistant role is full-time and starts after Easter. This is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.


Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting
  • Experience in Key Stage 2 is a bonus
  • Patient approach to teaching support
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)


Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive:

  • Day rate up to £95 per day which equates to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is situated on the outskirts of Redditch in a residential area. The school is easily accessible by car and public transport and has a good sized car park on site.
