Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team at a GOOD Ofsted-rated First School in Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced TA to work in a rewarding role.

This role is a class-based Teaching Assistant where you will be covering classes across from Reception to Year 4. This will be a long-term role which is due to start ASAP until the end of the academic year.

This Teaching Assistant role will include:

• Supporting children across Reception to KS2

• Assist the classroom teacher with planning and delivering the National Curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one support with children who require special educational needs.
• Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment in the Primary School.
• Contribute to classroom activities and help with resource management.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant Role:

• Experience working in a UK Primary School with pupils across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, or EYFS.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum teaching strategies.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification is required.
• A passion for helping children achieve their potential and maintain a healthy work life balance.
