Job Description

Pay: Up to £90 per day

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join the team, to work in a two-form entry Primary School in Stratford-upon-Avon. Our client is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in year 1 on a full-time or part time basis as a job share until the end of the academic year.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant at our client’s school, you are expected to provide support to the class teacher and help prepare the classroom ahead of lessons, safeguard all children, deliver 1:1 pastoral and learning support to a child who is in year 1 and deliver sessions in accordance with the EHCP objectives. You may also be required to take small groups/ 1:1 intervention and support on school trips. Due to the child needing support at all times, you will be given a break when the child you are supporting is back in class as you will be expected to be out on the playground supporting the child.

Flourish Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start immediately and continue until the end of the academic year. 

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification
  • Experience working in a Primary School
  • Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children
  • A minimum of 2 references from the last 24 months

  • Competitive salary of between £78.15 - £90 per day which equates to £15,239 - £17,550 per annum based on working 5 days per week for the full academic year
