Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a 2-form entry school based in Stratford-Upon-Avon which has been rated “good” by Ofsted.

Our client is searching for a hardworking and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work in Year 2. SEN experience would be beneficial to this role.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to provide support to the Class Teacher and help prepare the classroom ahead of any lessons and take small groups or 1:1 intervention.

The role is for immediate start and will be on a full-time basis until May half term and potentially until the end of the current academic year for the right candidate.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification.
  • Ability to liaise with the class teacher to support learning.
  • Build effective relationship with pupils and staff.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children.
