A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team this term, through to the end of the academic year in July.

This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position, you will be playing a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning and thrive in a positive classroom environment.

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will work closely alongside the class teacher to support day-to-day learning, provide targeted interventions, and help maintain a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom. You will also assist with organising classroom activities, supervising outdoor learning, and supporting small group work.

This 1-form entry Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting children in a primary setting.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the learning and development of pupils within the school.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Leading small group interventions to support pupil progress.
• Monitoring pupil engagement and providing feedback to the class teacher.
• Supervising outdoor activities and ensuring pupil safety.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

• A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting Key Stage 1 pupils, and knowledge of phonic schemes.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
