This role will be part-time for the full academic year, supporting with phonics and reading intervention in Reception and Year 1.
This Teaching Assistant role will include:
- Support teachers in delivering the National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Reception (EYFS).
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote student development.
- Provide individual and group support to students, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive space for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to update them on student progress.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant Role:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
- Previous UK school experience, particularly in a Primary School setting.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to support students in KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive work-life balance.
