Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to work in the Willenhall area in a 2-form entry "GOOD" OFSTED rated Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment in Year 6.

The school is looking for a candidate with experience providing small groups and 1:1 intervention for core subjects and ideally to have experience of working within Year 6 in the run up to SATS. As well as this, our client would also like the selected Teaching Assistant to also be able to cover classes when teachers are absent.

This Year 6 Teaching Assistant role is due to start immediately and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-15:30).

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

      Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification

Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Experience working in Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA - Ideally KS2

A minimum of 2 excellent references

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive

      Competitive Salary - between £85.02-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

£100 welcome to the team bonus paid automatically after working 10 days
