Flourish Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Worcester on a full-time, long-term basis from January 2026, working with their Year 3 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a welcoming school until the end of the academic year 

This Teaching Assistant role includes working alongside the classroom Teacher to promote effective learning and engagement for pupils in KS1. Candidates will be expected to provide general support through small intervention groups, and have sufficient knowledge of phonics for weekly group sessions. 

Requirements for this SEN Teaching Assistant role :

  • Provide small group and intervention sessions
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning to individual pupil needs
  • Promote inclusion and engagement within the classroom and across the school
  • Support emotional and behavioural development through positive reinforcement
Required Skills and Experience for Teaching Assistant Role:
  • Experience supporting children in a UK Primary School setting
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum, Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Early Years..
  • Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Previous UK school experience is essential

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £88.92 to £100.00 per day which equates to £17,339.40 to £19,500.00 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
