Flourish Education is working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Coventry that is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September.

You'll take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' development, and helping every child reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback to pupils and parents
• Using positive behaviour management strategies to encourage learning
• Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
• Preparing engaging learning resources and maintaining an organised classroom

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for helping children succeed

• Competitive salary of £31,785 - £45,240 per annum (based on working five days per week for a full academic year)

This Year 1 Teacher role is based in Coventry and is easily accessible from Bedworth, Nuneaton, Kenilworth, Rugby, Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas, with excellent transport links.
