Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic teacher ready for a new challenge? Flourish Education is delighted to be recruiting a dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Redditch, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

This is a full-time position beginning February 2026, for the remaining academic year. The school is a vibrant setting that places a strong emphasis on inclusive learning, excellent behaviour, and fostering early development. As a Year 1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Supporting children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development
  • Observing and assessing pupil progress to inform the next steps in learning
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity
  • Attending staff meetings
Requirements for this Year 1 Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience previously teaching across Key Stage One (KS1)
  • A deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development
  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
