Flourish Education are currently working with a Primary School near Bartley Green that recruiting for a committed Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant. Our client is a part of a wider multi academy trust that is extremely determined to ensure their pupils receive the best quality education.

The school are looking for someone to support a child in Year 1 on a 1:1 basis with ASD and speech, language, and communication needs. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive and make learning interactive and engaging.

This role is to start immediately and is an on-going long-term position. 

To apply to this Teaching Assistant role, you will need the following:

·         Relevant Level 3 qualification or above

·         Experience working in a Primary School

·         SEN experience is essential

·         Experience supporting children with ASD

·         Experience supporting children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs

·         To have supported pupils one to one

·         Be enthusiastic about working with children

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

·         Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher

·         Provide one to one support

·         Provide a engaging learning environment

·         Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the child
