Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a highly regarded, 2-form entry primary school based in Handsworth. This is a temporary role starting in February 2026, continuing until the end of the academic year, and is to cover a maternity leave.

The school is a friendly and welcoming 2-form entry primary school with a strong, supportive team and positive learning environment.

ECTs are encouraged to apply for this role.

Required skills and experience for this Primary Teacher role:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Confident in leading a classroom of children.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management
  • Year 2 assessments/SATs experience
  • To be able to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant
