Are you an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a full-time role?

A welcoming Primary School in Coventry is seeking a motivated Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from ASAP until the end of the academic year.

This Key Stage 1 teaching role involves planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for a Year 2 class, ensuring pupils are supported to reach their full potential. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a structured, engaging, and positive learning environment, with a strong focus on the KS1 curriculum.

The school is looking for a confident, proactive, and adaptable teacher who has a good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and can deliver high-quality teaching while providing consistency for pupils. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.

As a Year 2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Maintaining clear records of pupil progress and providing feedback.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and attending required staff meetings.
• Ensuring classroom resources and learning activities are well-prepared.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• A strong understanding of phonics and early reading strategies
• Strong classroom management skills and a confident, calm approach.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Competitive Salary – £31,785 - £45,240 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
