Are you a flexible and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding full time opportunity in September? 

We are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher who is looking to work within a two-form entry school in Coventry. The school is seeking either day-to-day or a long-term role Teacher to work 5 days a week in Year 2. 

This Year 2 Teacher role is perfect for a confident and adaptable practitioner with strong knowledge of KS1.

This is a full class responsibilities, where you will be planning, delivering and marking. 

As a a Year 2 Teacher in this role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with  Key Stage 1 and  national curriculum.
  • Following and adapting pre-planned work to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Supporting pupil progress and providing feedback in line with school policy.
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.
  • Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs.
