Are you looking for a teaching position that gives you a little more flexibility while still allowing you to make a real impact in the classroom?

Flourish Education is recruiting a Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Nuneaton, starting in November 2026.

This is a part-time, long-term position working Thursday’s and Friday’s, running until April 2027, with the potential for the role to be extended.

The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to providing children with a positive and engaging learning experience.

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for the class on your working days and will be expected to:

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons
  • Mark pupils' work in line with school expectations
  • Support pupils to make progress and achieve their potential
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
  • Work closely with the Teaching Assistant and wider teaching team
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of different learners

We're looking for a teacher who:
  • Holds, or is on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 through placements or previous employment
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Can build positive relationships with children and colleagues
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to the role
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply. The school has the capacity to support Early Career Teachers through their induction years, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive school environment.

We want you to feel supported throughout your time working with us. You'll have your own dedicated consultant who will take the time to understand what you're looking for and support you throughout the registration process and your placement.
