Job Description

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher to join a “GOOD” rated Primary School in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher to work in a supportive 3-form entry school with a dedicated Teaching Assistant in class. The school follows the National Curriculum and is looking for a Class Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and maintain excellent behaviour management. This full-time position will continue until the end of the academic year.
JOB ROLE:
  • Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils’ learning across all subjects within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Work collaboratively with a Teaching Assistant and year group team
  • Ensure high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress effectively
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience working as a Primary Teacher, Year 3 Teacher, or Class Teacher
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Proven ability to maintain excellent behaviour management
  • Commitment to working full time until the end of the academic year
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a Primary School setting
Working as a Year 3 Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
