Job Description

Year 3 Teacher required for a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Gloucester with a GOOD Ofsted rating. This full time Year 3 Teacher role starts after Easter and runs until the end of the academic year, offering full class Teacher responsibilities including planning and marking. The school is keen to appoint an experienced Primary Teacher who is confident within Key Stage 2 (KS2) and familiar with the National Curriculum. JOB ROLE:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
  • Take on full class Teacher responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Differentiate learning to support SEN in the class
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Primary School team and support staff
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress as a full time Year 3 Teacher

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience working as a Year 3 Teacher, Primary Teacher or Class Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Proven excellent behaviour management
  • Experience supporting SEN in the class
  • Previous experience within a UK Primary School setting
  • Ability to fulfil full class Teacher responsibilities
