A welcoming First School in Redditch is seeking a motivated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from Wednesday to Friday for the full summer term, with planning time included and paid to scale.

This Key Stage 2 teaching role involves planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for a Year 3 class, ensuring pupils are supported to reach their full potential. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a structured, engaging, and positive learning environment.

The school is looking for a confident, proactive, and adaptable teacher who can deliver the curriculum effectively and provide consistency for pupils across the term.

As a Year 3 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

• Implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.

• Maintaining clear records of pupil progress and providing feedback.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and attending required staff meetings.

• Ensuring classroom resources and learning activities are well-prepared.

To be successful in this Year 3 Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.

• Strong classroom management skills and a confident, calm approach.

• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.

• A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
