The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a curious and enthusiastic Year 3 class, supported by a skilled teaching assistant. Pupils are engaged, motivated, and benefit from a broad curriculum that balances academic rigour with opportunities in the arts, sports, and enrichment activities. Teachers enjoy collaborative planning across year groups, ensuring consistency and shared expertise.

This position would suit an experienced Class Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills, a passion for delivering engaging lessons, and the ability to nurture pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.

The Year 3 Teacher Role:

• Full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Lower KS2 National Curriculum
• Support the learning and development of all pupils, including those with additional needs
• Collaborate with the parallel Year 3 teacher to share planning and best practice
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and academic growth

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong understanding of the Lower KS2 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Experience teaching in Upper KS1 is desirable

• £168.80 to £232.57 per day (£32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on 5 days per week)
