Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated two-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton. The school is known for its nurturing ethos, strong sense of community, and dedication to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 class, with the support of a dedicated teaching assistant. The school promotes a creative and inclusive curriculum, encouraging every child to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

This role would suit an experienced class teacher with a passion for teaching, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can thrive. The position is due to start after Easter and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The Year 3 Teacher Role:

  • Full class teacher responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Support the progress and well-being of all pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures both academic and personal development

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

Working as a Year 3 Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you:
  • Up to £232.57 per day, equivalent to £45,352 per annum (based on 5 days per week for a full school year)
