Job Description

Flourish Education is currently seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher for a well-regarded primary school in Coventry, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.

The school is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join their Year 4 team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons, working collaboratively with a classroom Teaching Assistant, ensuring pupil safeguarding, marking work in line with the school's policies, attending staff meetings, participating in playground duties, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Applications are encouraged from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

This role is set to begin in September and will initially run until the Easter break, with the potential to extend until the end of the academic year for the right candidate.
This Year 4 Teacher Role:
  • Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.
  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS2
  • Promoting excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive classroom environment.
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of all students.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed.
Required Skills and Experience for this Year 4 Class Teacher role
 
  • Proven experience teaching in a Primary School setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant KS2 frameworks. 
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and driving academic success.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
