Year 4 Teacher wanted for a GOOD Ofsted rated Primary School in Gloucester. This Primary Teacher role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons in Key Stage 2 (KS2) and work as part of a supportive teaching team.

The role starts after the Easter Holidays and is full-time until the summer holidays, providing full class teacher responsibilities in a thriving school environment. If you are an enthusiastic Primary Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills, this is the role for you.

JOB ROLE:
As a Year 4 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, delivering, and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2
  • Managing a full class of pupils and maintaining excellent behaviour standards
  • Supporting the wider development of the Primary School through extra-curricular activities
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and achievement
  • Collaborating with colleagues and participating in staff meetings to enhance school performance
  • Ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils in your care
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience working as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher in KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively in a Primary School setting
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Experience planning and marking full class teacher responsibilities
Working as a Year 4 Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £168.80 to £223.57 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Year 4 Teacher position is based in Gloucester, easily commutable from Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Brockworth, Abbeymead, and Longlevens. The Primary School offers excellent transport links and onsite parking for staff.
