Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support a child 1:1 in Key Stage 2 at school located in Kings Heath. This role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year on a full-time basis.
 
You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to maintain a safe environment, building trust and providing consistency will be key to helping the child access learning and build confidence.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Providing 1:1 support to a student with medical needs.
  • Working with the class teacher to maintain a safe environment
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Following the schools policy and procedures.
 
 
Required Skills and Experience as Teaching Assistant:
  • Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Experience as a TA and 1:1 support
  • Experience working in a Primary School setting
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide a calm and neutering environment.
 
Working as a Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £88.92 to £95.00 per day which equates to £17,339.40 to £18,525.00 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This position is at a school located in Kings Heath, which is easily commutable from Frankley, Selly Oak, Stirchley, Kings Norton, Cotteridge and Northfield. The school offers onsite parking and is well-connected by public transport.
