We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Year 5 Teacher who can provide consistent weekly cover within a supportive Key Stage 2 setting within the South Birmingham area. There will be no planning, just covering the lesson with everything ready for you!

As a Year 5 Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for:
• Delivering pre-set lessons to a Year 5 class
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
• Ensuring pupils remain on task and complete set work
• Providing feedback to the class teacher following each session
• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare policies are strictly followed

Required Skills and Experience needed as a Year 5 Cover Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Recent experience working within a UK Primary School

Working as a Year 5 Cover Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:
