Flourish Education are working with a welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Allesley who are looking for a passionate Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September for the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT, or a teacher yet to complete their induction, to take on full class teacher responsibilities while receiving guidance and support from an experienced team. You will be supported with planning, assessment and classroom management as you continue to develop your confidence and teaching practice.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Mark and assess pupils' work and monitor their progress.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
• Communicate with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.

• QTS or due to achieve QTS by Summer 2026.
• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for developing your teaching practice.
• A commitment to creating a positive learning environment for pupils.
