Year 5 Teacher – Primary Teacher opportunity available at a GOOD OFSTED rated Primary School in Chipping Campden. This Class Teacher role offers the chance to lead a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class, delivering the National Curriculum in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Starting after the Easter Holidays, you will work full-time until the summer holidays, gaining valuable experience with full class teacher responsibilities and excellent behaviour management. This is a unique opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking to make a real impact in a friendly and motivated school community.

JOB ROLE:

As a Year 5 Teacher – Primary Teacher, you will:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Take full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and tracking progress
  • Implement excellent behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
  • Support the personal, social, and emotional development of pupils
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety within the classroom

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a Primary Teacher, Class Teacher, or KS2 Teacher
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 expectations
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and ability to motivate pupils
  • Ability to plan and deliver full class teacher responsibilities effectively
  • Familiarity with classroom technology and assessment tools

Working as a Primary Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £168.80 - £232.57 a day, equating to £32,916 - £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

LOCATION:
This Year 5 Teacher position is based in Chipping Campden, easily commutable from Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Shipston-on-Stour. The Primary School offers excellent transport links and onsite parking.
