Are you experienced in teaching Key Stage Two Teacher, looking for your next long-term opportunity?

Flourish Education is looking to recruit a Year 5 Class Teacher to work in a Primary school in Malvern on a full-time basis, starting in April 2026. This role is a maternity cover until the end of the academic year.

Suitable candidates for this Year 5 Class Teacher role, must have strong behaviour management skills and previous experience, as the Year 5 class has a high proportion of SEN pupils and presents challenging behavioural needs also. Classroom support staff will be supporting these children also.

As a Year 5 Teacher in our client’s school, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teacher assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy, and attending meetings where necessary.

To apply for this Year 5 Class Teacher role, you will need:
  • Experience in teaching in Primary Education, previous KS2 experience is essential.
  • Previous experience supporting SEN children and adapting lessons 
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to the role
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
