Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to join a school in the Brownhills area. The role is full-time and to start in Feburary on a long-term basis.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues to support learning across the key stage. The successful teacher will be expected to take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and attending staff meetings.
Job role:
  • Full-time Year 5 Class Teacher
  • Delivering lessons that inspire, engage, and challenge pupils
  • Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting attainment
  • Managing behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Attending staff meetings, parent evenings, and contributing to wider school life
Required skills and experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons
  • A passion for helping children to achieve their full potential
