Job Description

We are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Walsall from September. This full-time role is ongoing until the school recruits permanently, offering stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Job Role:
  • Full-time Class Teacher role teaching a Year 5 class
  • Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Use effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with the KS2 team and wider school staff
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Experience teaching in a Primary School setting
  • Confident delivering Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum
  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and KS1/KS2 transitions
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Previous experience as a Primary Teacher, Class Teacher, or Year 5 Teacher

This Primary Teacher role is based in Walsall, easily commutable from Bloxwich, Willenhall, Darlaston, Wednesbury, Great Barr, and Brownhills. Onsite parking is available, and the school has excellent public transport links.
