Flourish Education are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to support in a 1-form entry Primary School in Kings Norton. This is a small school who are community focused and value an inclusive environment, where children are encouraged to come responsible, caring and independent.
Our client are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who would be able to undertake a full-class planning role to start ASAP and will continue until February half term in the first instance, but is potentially ongoing until the end of the academic year. This role would be full time, and the school would be open to ECT’s (Early Career Teachers).
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:
- Plan, deliver, and mark engaging lessons following the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment with strong behaviour management strategies.
- Assess and track pupil progress effectively, ensuring each child reaches their potential.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to develop and share best practices.
- Take on full class responsibilities, including parent communication and participation in school activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Primary School) settings.
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours positively.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
Working as a Year 5 Teacher for Flourish Education Offers:
- £162.31 to £223.63 a day, equivalent to £31,650 to £43,607 per annum for full-time work.
