Year 5 Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a thriving two-form entry Primary School in Bilston, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This larger-than-average school is proud of its inclusive ethos, collaborative teaching culture, and strong links with the local community. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a lively and motivated Year 5 class, supported by a dedicated teaching assistant. Pupils are enthusiastic, resilient, and eager to rise to the challenges of Upper Key Stage 2. The school promotes high standards of teaching and learning, encouraging every child to achieve their full potential.

This position would suit an experienced Class Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills, a passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils thrive.

The Year 5 Teacher Role:

• Full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Upper KS2 National Curriculum
• Support the learning and development of all pupils, including those with additional needs
• Collaborate with the parallel Year 5 teacher to share planning and best practice
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil progress
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and academic growth

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong understanding of the Upper KS2 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Experience teaching in Lower KS2 or Upper KS1 is desirable

• £168.80 to £232.57 per day (£32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on 5 days per week)
